Novel 3D Printed Heat Exchanger

On this project, my team and I were sponsored by the Northrop Grumman Additive Manufacturing team to design fins for an 3D printed heat exchanger. We used gyroids, a common infill pattern, due to their high surface area to volume ratio and ability to create turbulent flow.

We got to present our design process and findings to NG representatives, and earned the class high in both the presentation and the accompanying journal paper.
